My name is Joanne Ehinger and I am the owner of Splooters. There hasn’t been a time in my life when pets weren’t a part of it. Today I am a proud pet Mom to a little boy Chihuahua named Joey Tribbiani, and a kitty that I rescued named Butters. They are my heart and soul and have me wrapped around their little paws! While raising my three children, we had the opportunity to reside in Tennessee for six years. During that time, I owned a successful pet sitting business. If that wasn’t crazy enough, our family got involved with an animal rescue in the area after my son found a puppy in a sewer pipe. We named her Macy and she was the beginning of an experience we will never forget. We fostered over 50 homeless dogs and puppies that now have loving and forever homes. To this day, my children and I still reminisce about the special memories they left with us. Over the years, friends and family have entrusted their precious pets in my care because they trusted my abilities and knew I would treat their pets as I would my own. Spending my days with cats and dogs is what I consider fun and not work. I guess you can say I am crazy about animals. My collective experience includes years of raising dogs and cats, rescuing them, reviving them, traveling with them, training them, falling in love with them, and having my heart broken by them. Who can resist puppy breath, wags and purrs, wet kisses, lap naps, and cuddling with animals? Certainly not me. So, it’s no surprise that pet sitting and dog walking are my profession, my livelihood, and my business.
