Pet Sitting in Carlsbad, CA | In Home Pet Sitters
Your Pet Sitter Lives in Carlsbad Too
Most pet sitting companies serving Carlsbad are driving in from somewhere else. We are not. Splooters is based here, which is the whole reason our Carlsbad clients get the coverage they do.
We sit for pets from Olde Carlsbad and the Village down through Terramar and Ponto, across La Costa, La Costa Oaks and Aviara, out to Bressi Ranch and Rancho Carrillo, and up into Calavera Hills and the neighborhoods off College and Palomar Airport Road. We know which streets flood at the bottom of the hill in February and which gate codes stop working when the HOA changes vendors.

What Every In Home Pet Sitting Visit Includes
Visits run 35, 45 or 60 minutes with one sitter for one to two pets. Every one of them covers:
- Feeding and fresh water, portioned exactly to your instructions
- Potty breaks and yard time
- Play, love and affection, which is most of the visit and not filler
- Medication administered on your schedule
- Litter box scooping and pet area cleanup
- Light house care while we are there
You get notes and photos after every single visit. Not a summary at the end of the week. Every visit.
Dog Pet Sitting Service for Carlsbad’s Travel Schedule
Carlsbad works in short trips. A two day sales meeting out of McClellan-Palomar. A week at a trade show. The golf industry, the biotech corridor off Palomar Airport Road, ViaSat, the companies along Faraday and Priestly. Nobody here takes a leisurely vacation. They take four days and come back tired.
Four days is exactly the length where boarding is the worst deal. Your dog absorbs the full stress of a kennel for a trip that was barely a trip. Our dog pet sitting service covers those windows without your dog ever leaving the house. He sleeps where he sleeps, eats what he eats, and the only difference is that someone shows up to see him.
For local exercise we use what Carlsbad gives us, including the dog park at Alga Norte and the one at Poinsettia Community Park. Confirm current hours and rules with the city before you go, since the schedules change.
